The key terms that apply when you book a lesson or package with us.
All lessons are booked by phone or text. Your booking is confirmed once we've agreed a day, time and meeting point with you directly — there's no automatic online confirmation.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson, so we can offer the time slot to another learner.
Payment is due at the time of your lesson unless a package has been paid for in advance. Package payments are non-refundable, but any remaining lessons in a package may be rescheduled in line with our cancellation policy above.
You must hold a current South Australian Learner's Permit and bring your Learner's Logbook to every lesson. It's your responsibility to keep your logbook accurately updated and to meet the required supervised hours before booking your VORT.
AJ SmartDrive Training prepares you for the VORT and arranges your test booking with an authorised independent examiner. We do not conduct the test ourselves, and while we'll only recommend booking once we believe you're ready, the test outcome is determined solely by the examiner and cannot be guaranteed.
Lessons are conducted in a dual-control vehicle provided by AJ SmartDrive Training. For everyone's safety, learners must follow the instructor's directions at all times. We reserve the right to end a lesson early, without refund, if a learner drives dangerously or does not follow reasonable instruction.
